Imbolc has long been celebrated as the first day of spring. It is half way between the winter solstice (yule) and the spring equinox (Ostara). The word 'imbolc' means 'in the belly of the mother' because the seeds of spring are beginning to stir in the belly of Mother Earth.
 
Before we incarnated in this lifetime, we each choose gifts, pearls of potential, packages of frequencies to bring with us that are to be opened and integrated at key times in our life, We came to Earth with these seeds, woven into our energy fields and at the moment that our soul integrated with our physical body the seeds were planted. We trusted that we would find these seeds of potential at just the right times.
 
To receive the maximum potential for this process it is best done between 20th January and 3rd February. 
Before you begin you will need a comfortable sitting space, paper and pen, water to drink, perhaps a candle and something from nature that catches your eye.
